World Tourism Day
Eighty girl guides participated in the Girl Guides Club, celebrating World Tourism Day under the slogan (Legacies in My Country) to increase society’s awareness of the importance of international tourism and its culture.
The program included workshops on the scouting and guiding movement basics, educational and awareness workshops conducted by The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, and life skills courses to develop their skills and capabilities.
There were also some entertainment games around the theme “the tourist and archaeological places in the country” in addition to mental entertainment games.
The program included an exhibition (Arab Cultural Exhibition) prepared by school leaders representing their countries (Egypt - Palestine - Sudan - Tunisia) to learn about different Arab cultures as well as a contest around it to obtain the badge of a tour guide.
