The festivities celebrating the 49th edition of the Arab Deaf Week were held at the Hearing Education Complex, coinciding with the global celebration of deaf communities worldwide. Annually, this event aims to provide suitable employment opportunities for deaf men and women in both the public and private sectors.
The goal is to raise awareness within the local community about the concept and importance of hearing impairment and to shed light on the services provided by the Hearing Education Complex for girls. Additionally, it aims to highlight shining examples of individuals with disabilities from childhood to adulthood, including students from the Hearing Education Complex for Girls. The focus is on deaf issues, raising awareness about their rights and abilities, and showcasing their talents and potential. Our students with hearing impairments possess creative abilities and skills that enable them to effectively integrate into society.
Scouting and guiding teams participated in welcoming, organizing, and reciting the national anthem in sign language. The Scout team from Ahmed Mansour Primary School also participated.
