Virtual Seminar on the Definition of the Instrument of Protection against Harm to National Scouting Societies
On Saturday, May 13, 2023, a virtual seminar was held to introduce the instrument of protection against harm to national scouting societies. More than 380 participants were registered, representing officials, commissioners, team leaders, and scouting groups from 19 Arab scouting associations, with the aim of:
- Ensuring collective understanding of standards and how to meet them.
- Understanding the importance of protection from harm today in scouting associations.
- Understanding the role and responsibility of the regional team.
- Understanding changes in the annual reporting process.
- Understanding the support available and provided through the World Scout Movement Organization

- Publicizing the evaluation tool.
- Publicizing formal evaluation criteria for protection against harm and its dimensions;
The Scout and Qatari Guides Association participated as President and members of the Committee for Protection from Harm, led by the Scout Teams and directed by the Association
