The first gathering of scouting and guidance teams for people with disabilities at the Auditory Education Complex (Boys)
Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Boy Scouts and Girl Guides Association, witnessed the first gathering program for scouting and guiding teams for people with disabilities at the Auditory Education Complex (Boys) in the presence of the General Commissioner of the Qatar Boy Scouts and Girl Guides Association, Mr. Jassem Mohammed Al-Hardan, and Ms. Munira Al-Jassim, as well as directors of government and private schools and parents of students.
The ceremony included various scouting activities such as the drum and flag presentation. There were several scouting workshops, including the Promise, Law, Greeting, Scout Emblem, and Folding the Scout Handkerchief. The Ministry of Interior also participated in the "Be with Me" campaign on the sidelines of the gathering, along with the participation of the Qatar Association for the Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities.
Dr. Ibrahim Al Nuaimi conducted a tour to observe the programs and workshops of the gathering. On this occasion, he emphasized the importance of the scouting movement, considering it a fundamental pillar of the educational process. The movement provides activities that help scouts with disabilities develop their personalities, enhance moral values, encourage them to engage in volunteer work and strengthen national unity and mutual respect within the scouting movement.
Dr. Ibrahim Al Nuaimi expressed his gratitude to the organizers of the gathering and highlighted the role of scouting in empowering people with disabilities and developing their capabilities. He emphasized the connection between scouting and the development of life skills and character building. In his speech, Dr. Al Nuaimi also encouraged youth to love their country. Various schools and centers participated in the gathering, including the Comprehensive Empowerment School, Hassan bin Thabit Secondary School, Masadee Secondary School, Qatar Primary School, Ibn Al-Haitham Primary School, Al-Shalh Center, Al-Noor Center for the Blind, Rehabilitation Center for Boys, Cultural Center for Boys' Rehabilitation, Al-Huda School - Al-Duhail Branch, and Al-Huda School - Al-Hilal Branch.
