Grandmother’s Day Celebration
The Kindergarten of Al-Qadisiyah Model School celebrated Grandmother's Day at the kindergarten premises, where the Scout Cubs team presented creative segments for this special occasion. They warmly welcomed the grandmothers attending the event, greeted them with a scout salute, and organized a variety of traditional, welcoming, and educational activities to emphasize the value of respecting grandmothers and family. These activities had a deep impact on the grandmothers present on this day.
The aim of the Scout Cubs' participation was to teach students the principles of Qatari heritage, customs, and traditions, especially in honoring guests and welcoming them. The event also helped build the students' self-confidence, involving them in both indoor and outdoor activities, as well as local events. Additionally, the children had the opportunity to explore various corners of the kindergarten, such as the old shop and its contents, the bride preparation corner, the traditional games corner, and the "Dukhtar" corner.
