The Scouting Leadership Program under the slogan "Exploration and Challenge"
The Qatar Scout and Girl Guide Association organized a meeting for school leaders to introduce them to the Scouting Leadership Program under the slogan "Exploration and Challenge", with the participation of several entities including the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), the Museum of Islamic Art, and the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs.
During his speech at the meeting, Commander Ghanem Abdulrahman Al Kuwari conveyed greetings from Mr. Jassem Al Hardan, the General Commissioner. He emphasized that this meeting aims to familiarize leaders with the type of program and the conditions for joining it. Establishing a scouting club for youth is essential in every community, as it contributes to highlighting the cultural and civilizational image. Since its inception, the Scout Association has prioritized its programs to focus on youth development in scouting, religious, scientific, cultural, and social aspects. The idea of establishing a scouting club dedicated to scouting, cultural, and sports aspects emerged to discuss the aspirations, goals, and future plans adopted by the association and the importance of keeping up with scouting activities and programs for the targeted age groups at different scouting stages. Commander Hamad Al Omari, Director of the Qatari Scout Administration, discussed the topic of external participation and the role of scouts in it.
