The Scout and Guide Camp, under the theme "Leaders of Peace"

The Guiding Department of the Qatar Scouts and Girl Guides Association organized the Scout and Guide Camp under the theme "Leaders of Peace." The camp was held at Al Kaaban Joint Girls' School on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. It saw the participation of Brownies and Girl Guides from 5 primary schools: Al Kaaban, Zakrit, Um Salal Mohammed, Al Abib, and Al Shifa bint Abdul Rahman Al Ansariya, totaling 122 Brownies and Girl Guides.

The camp program was diverse and enjoyable, featuring multiple pioneering scout workshops such as building fences, pitching tents, and knot tying. Additionally, there were workshops on fire types and recycling. A religious workshop titled "The Ethics of Muslim Girls" was also included, along with competitions, games, and entertainment activities.

The program also fostered collaborative efforts between our scout and guide camp and the school's scientific camp organized by the Science Group, resulting in tangible cooperation and fostering a spirit of fun, competition, and teamwork among the school students, Brownies, and participating Girl Guides. The camp concluded with a community service activity to leave the place better than it was found.
