The workshops are taking place prior to the commencement of the National Scouting Youth Forum.
The workshops continue ahead of the First National Scouting Youth Forum, following a precise daily and hourly schedule, covering various areas such as humanitarian work, youth programs, scouting leaders, assessment tools, protection from harm, activity impact assessment, youth participation, membership development, creating a better world framework, motivation skills, and leadership.
Mr. Jassim Mohammed Al-Hardan, the General Commissioner of the Qatar Boy Scouts and Girl Guides Association, emphasized that the association is committed to training and qualifying young cadres to enhance their capabilities and contribute to revitalizing the scouting movement in the country. He stated that the association is keen on achieving the objectives outlined in Law No. (18), Article No. (4), which aims to elevate the capabilities of the cadres through purposeful and engaging programs that align with societal values while maintaining authenticity and keeping up with developments.
It's time to inject new blood into the veins of the scouting body, so it can fulfill its responsibilities towards young people in terms of education, guidance, and harnessing their potential for their benefit and the benefit of the country, thereby achieving the leadership's aspirations. The forum addresses vital issues that respond to the needs of the youth, discussing how speakers and young people plan their youth lives and achieve their goals. Additionally, the forum covers the role of leaders in scouting in ensuring performance quality, as well as discussing some sports laws.
