In participation with the Scouts team from Talha bin Ubaid Allah Secondary School for Boys, the school marked World Diabetes Day. The event was carried out in collaboration with the nursing staff at the school clinic. The Scouts team assisted in organizing the students, conducting blood sugar tests, and distributing educational brochures to raise awareness about diabetes.
The initiative aimed to educate students on the importance of health monitoring and diabetes prevention, fostering a culture of health awareness among the school community.
The Guides team from International Preparation Academy also participated in this event. Their involvement contributed to the success of the gathering, as they took part in the various workshops and activities organized throughout the day. Their participation highlighted the spirit of unity and cooperation among different schools and was a valuable addition to the overall success of the training gathering. This collaboration between the different schools and scouting teams reinforced the message of community service and the importance of scouting and guiding activities in building strong, responsible young leaders.
