Introductory Meeting for New and Experienced Leaders Organized by the Qatar Scouts and Guides Association
The Qatar Scouts and Guides Association, through the Guides Department, organized an introductory meeting for new and experienced leaders aimed at:
- Introducing the Scout and Guide movement, its principles, objectives, and a brief history of its establishment in Qatar.
- Presenting the training plan and its implementation mechanisms, including topics like enhancing knowledge, knots and bindings, and the foundational course for leaders.
- Showcasing program plans such as Arab Girl Guide Day, International Education Day, and International Day of the Girl.
- Explaining the registration process and how to receive the guide uniform.
- Facilitating the registration and formation of guide troops.
- Reviewing approved models for implementing the Scout and Guide activity plan.
- Presenting the safeguarding policy with an emphasis on obtaining a certificate of completion for the safeguarding course.
- Thanking the leaders for their commitment to attendance.
The meeting was overseen by Acting Director of the Guides Department, Nora Al-Faisal, along with supervisors Sanaa Boukchicha (Head of Programs), Huda Al-Khayat (Head of Training), Dr. Amal Al-Musalamani (Consultant), and supervisors Huda Al-Khaldi, Doha Al-Hajri, and Maryam Ashkanani.
