The first meeting of the Committee of Information Commissioners revealed the countries of the Cooperation Council in Doha

Under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al-Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association of Scouts and Qatari Girl Guides, the first meeting of the Committee of Information Commissioners in the Countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council was launched in Doha today, amid great attendance and interest.
The meeting comes in the implementation of the decision of the Committee of Chiefs of Scout Associations in the Cooperation Council states at its thirty-second meeting in the State of Kuwait with the aim of developing cooperation and exchanging experiences between the Scout Media Commissioners to achieve the vision of the scouting movement.
The meeting includes a discussion of topics: new global media trends, the creation of a Gulf scout media network, and a review of the experiences of scout societies in the field of information ، Media planning for major scouting activities, as well as visiting media and cultural institutions to learn about their distinguished experiences.
Mr. Jassim Mohamed Al-Hardan, Commissioner-General of the Society of Scouts and Qatari Girl Guides welcomed in a speech during the opening ceremony, the attendees, and said: The media plays a major vital role in achieving the goal and vision of the scouting movement and contributes to developing awareness and motivating young people to develop society, and affirmed the keenness to develop the scouting media performance to keep pace with the requirements of the times، Expressing the hope for the promotion of fruitful cooperation between the Gulf Scout Associations.
For its part, His Excellency Saleh Al Ali, Adviser to the Head of the Human and Environmental Affairs Sector in the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, thanked the Scout Association and the country guides for their generous hospitality, good reception and the creation of reasons for the success of the meeting's work، I wish to come up with recommendations that support the work of the committee.
