Qatar Guides Participate in the Opening of the 25 Arab Guides Camp in the Sultanate of Oman
Today, with the participation of Qatar's guides, the 25 Arab guides camp events were opened under the slogan "Future skills.. innovation-challenge-sustainability ". organized by the Sultanate of Oman and lasting until August 12 at the Permanent Scouting Camp with the ease of Mount Ashore under the auspices of Dr. Yacoub bin Khalfan bin Abdullah Al-Nadabi, Director General of Scouts and Guides (Qatar - Egypt - Palestine - Libya - Algeria Libya, Sudan, Tunisia, Jordan, and Kuwait, in addition to the Sultanate of Oman, the host country. The mentors' camp aims to acquire the skills of living nature, living an empty life, practicing guiding traditions, and applying the elements of the guiding method through camping skills, developing the skills of challenging and adventurous women mentors, and discovering nature through scientific and tourist visits.
Qatar's delegation arrived in Salalah, Sultanate of Oman, where it participated in the 25th Arab Summer Camp for Women Guides and Applicants from 6 to 12 August 2023 in the Permanent Scout Camp at Mount Ashur - Dhofar Governorate.
The delegation was headed by Commander A/Shahah Sultan Al-Rashid and Commander A/Amal Issa Al-Muhandi, in addition to 6 guides aimed at the camp:
Developing the skills of challenging and adventurous women guides.
Application of indicative method elements through camping skills.
The practice of indicative traditions.
Acquire the skills of living nature and the life of the uncle.
Exchange of experiences and pilot experiences among participating delegations.
Promotion of human values, principles, and positive attitudes between girl guides and girl scouts.
Create opportunities for innovation through scientific workshops.
Discover nature's vocabulary through scientific and tourism visits.
