First Introductory Meeting for Leaders of Public and Private Schools for the Disability Stage
On Monday, September 23, 2024, the Qatar Scouts and Guides Association held the first introductory meeting for leaders of public and private schools focusing on the disability stage. The meeting covered several important elements, including:
- An overview of the Scout movement, its definition, objectives, and principles.
- The registration process and formation of scout troops.
- Responsibilities of troop leaders and their roles within the school.
- Presentation of the annual plan, including activities, programs, and training managed by the Guides Department.
- Introduction to the general policy of the Qatar Scouts and Guides Association.
- Explanation of the safeguarding policy, signing the code of conduct, and ensuring its implementation during activities and programs with scout and guide troops.
The meeting was overseen by Guide Supervisor Aisha Askar, along with Leaders Abdelsamad Mohammed, Essam Mohammed, and Khaled Sabri.
