The celebration of the International Day of the Girl
The Girl Guides of the State of Qatar participated in the celebration of the International Day of the Girl through the Zoom program, which was organized by the Arab Girl Guides Region. The aim of this day is to protect the rights of girls in all aspects of life (education, nutrition, health, and medical care, and it reflects the success of girls, women, and young women. First of all, the session opened with reflections on nature, talking about patterns of thinking, aspirations and future wishes of girls, and the importance of cooperation between them, as they expressed their views on the problems that girls face and the variety of problems in terms of lack of self-confidence, shyness and lack of initiative, fear of making decisions, bullying, and not finding a suitable job.
