The Gulf Scout Summer Camp for the Advanced Scout Stage
The Qatari Scouts participated in the activities of the Gulf Scout Summer Camp for the Advanced Scout Stage, organized by the General Directorate of Scouts and Guides in Oman from August 8 to 14. The camp was held under the theme "Scouting... Innovation Sustainability Building" and included over 280 participants, including scouts and leaders from Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE, and Yemen. The camp featured a range of new programs, events, and activities designed to meet the needs of scouts at this stage, fulfilling their aspirations and interests through a variety of cultural, scientific, environmental, sports, tourism, community partnership activities, and training sessions. These activities aimed to impart values and practical skills to the participants, highlight their talents, and promote self-reliance. The camp also focused on fostering innovation and applying it in various professional fields, with the lab equipped with the latest devices and tools in artificial intelligence and modern technologies such as robotics, simulation, programming devices, manufacturing machines, and 3D printing
