A health workshop under the slogan "Your Health Matters"
The Qatar Scouts and Girl Guides Association, in collaboration with the Naseem Medical Center, organized a health workshop under the slogan "Your Health Matters." The workshop included complete medical tests and examinations for tenth-grade students at the school. The examinations involved blood sugar analysis, blood pressure measurement, and preliminary dental check-ups. This initiative is part of the Qatar Scouts and Girl Guides Association's plan to continually ensure the health and safety of employees. It aligns with the directives of the General Commissioner of the Qatar Scouts and Girl Guides Association, Mr. Jassem Mohammed Al-Hardan, within the community development commissioner committee's plan.
The association reached an agreement with the Naseem Medical Center to conduct regular examinations for employees, leaders, and school leaders of the Qatar Scouts and Girl Guides Association, as well as leaders of the schools. The results of the tests and measurements are kept in files at the association for effective response and urgent treatment plans based on each case's measurements.
On the sidelines of the health day, Scout leader Sara Sultan emphasized that activating the health day is part of a plan to enhance community partnerships with governmental and private entities. There is a plan to continue ensuring the health of employees and, more importantly, to follow up on medical conditions discovered during this health day. All medical reports are placed in the employees' files to monitor all medical cases. The workshop was supervised by the Commissioner of the Community Development Committee, Scout leader Hizam Naji Al-Musleh, and Scout leaders Mona Al-Mansouri and Sara Sultan.
