The activities of the third season of the Summer Guides Club kicked off today under the theme "Our Summer: Passion and Challenge". The program will run for two weeks from July 14 to 24, with the aim of involving the community’s girls in achieving educational, scouting, and guiding objectives.
The program enhances various aspects including national, scouting, and guiding values, religious awareness, life skills, social skills, cultural enrichment, and recreational activities, all through an educational and entertaining approach suitable for the age group of the participants.
The program began with the national salute, the national anthem, and physical exercises, followed by the distribution of participants into workshops and activities. These included the significance of flag folding and its meaning, handicraft skills (such as weaving and recycling), and a religious awareness lecture titled “A Covenant of Prayer and Allah’s Blessings on Our Master Salman”. This lecture was conducted in collaboration with relevant organizations that prepare educational and developmental workshops aimed at fostering a scouting and guiding generation and provided trainers and volunteers.
The program concluded with recreational games and competitions, which were met with great enthusiasm and positive engagement from the participants.
