The Second Scout Guiding Camp under the Slogan "Leaders of the Future"

The Guides Department of the Qatar Scouts and Guides Association organized the second scout guiding camp under the slogan "Leaders of the Future" at Maymouna Primary School for Girls. The event took place on Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The camp saw participation from young guides and girl scouts from eight primary schools: Maymouna, Sumaya, Zainab bint Jahsh, Al-Isra, Dukhan, Al Maha English Academy, Harvard American School, and the Palestinian School, with a total of 133 young guides and scouts.

The camp's program was diverse and enjoyable, featuring various pioneering and scouting workshops such as constructing barriers, making platforms, setting up a hike tent, tying knots and lashings, learning about different types of fires, and recycling workshops. Additionally, there was a religious workshop titled "My Prayer is My Life," along with segments for competitions, games, and entertainment.

The program also included a collaborative effort between our scout guiding camp and the school's scientific club, resulting in tangible cooperation and fostering a spirit of fun, competition, and teamwork among the participating young guides and girl scouts. The camp concluded with a public service activity to leave the place better than it was before.
