First Training Gathering for Sixers and Assistant Sixers

Under the slogan "In the Sky of Glory, We Rise," Al-Riffa Primary School organized the first training gathering for Sixers and Assistant Sixers, under the supervision of the Qatar Scouts and Guides Association. The event was attended by 11 schools and involved 140 Sixers and Assistant Sixers.

The gathering began with the distribution of flowers and guides into bouquets and teams named after various Arab Scout associations (e.g., Bahrain Guides, UAE Guides, Saudi Guides, etc.). The morning assembly started with the recitation of the Quran, the national anthem, a speech from the school principal, and a message from the stage director. A special presentation on flag-raising ceremonies followed, along with an informative presentation on Palestine.

Afterward, the participants moved to the basic training stations of the scouting and guiding movement, where they exchanged information. Each flower or guide shared simple facts about the emblem of one of the Arab associations represented by their bouquet name, which served as a symbol for that group. The leader then explained the base of the association, and the key to completing the base was handed over.

The training stations included:

- The founding base of the Qatar Guides Movement and a historical photo exhibition on Qatar Scouts.

- The Promise, the Law, the Salute, and the Emblem.

- The scarf and its uses, as well as the guide uniform.

- Hand signals and whistles.

- Scouting and guiding terminology, and the knotting technique.

- The importance of tents and their surroundings in the scout movement.

The training concluded with a religious lecture on Islamic values. The gathering ended with each flower and guide leaving a fingerprint and sharing a message of love for Palestine.
