The Kuwait Forum to honor male and female leaders of the Arab nation
The Qatari Scouts participated in the Kuwait Forum to honor male and female leaders of the Arab nation, held from February 23 to 27, 2024. The delegation was headed by His Excellency Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al-Nuaimi, Deputy Minister of Education and Higher Education and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Scouts and Girl Guides Association. Also, present was the Deputy Head of the Scouts Department, Leader Yousuf Al-Muftah.
During the forum, more than 100 male and female leaders from various Arab countries were honored for their significant achievements in the scouting and guiding movement across the Arab world. The forum included several events and activities, such as meetings of technical committees of the Arab Scout and Guide Union, meetings of union presidents with executive committee members, and meetings of the executive committee of the Arab Scout and Guide Union. Additionally, there were exhibitions, health education seminars, and a visit to "Miskat 2" (Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Causeway) and the astronomical museum of Adel Al-Saadoun.
Moreover, the forum discussed inviting Arab unions to host programs and activities, listening to proposals for the Fall Meeting in Salalah, proposals for the second-level media diploma, and partnership memoranda. It also addressed setting the date and location for the third meeting of female leaders and activating the program to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Arab Scout and Guide Union. The forum concluded with updates on upcoming events, including Umrah, the media conference, and leadership courses.
