The first Girl Guides camp under the slogan "Girl Guides Today, Leaders Tomorrow,"
The Cairo Private School organized the first Girl Guides camp under the slogan "Girl Guides Today, Leaders Tomorrow," led by the energetic leader Nahla El-Sayed. The camp aimed to instill a spirit of collaboration among the Girl Guides, familiarize them with organization and solitary life, refine their Scouting and Guiding talents, and instill a sense of patriotism through the national anthem and chanting Scouting and Guiding slogans.
The camp included workshops and activities such as a workshop on the risks of the internet, focusing on understanding both the positive and negative aspects of its use. There was also a health workshop covering topics like blood pressure and sugar levels, a healthy food workshop, a workshop on the World Program (Free to Be Me) promoting self-respect and body confidence, a first aid workshop, a religious workshop emphasizing prayer, and a workshop on constructing a shelter from environmental materials.
The camp also featured handicraft skills by the Girl Guides, and they held a small exhibition showcasing their creations. The director of the school's stages (elementary, preparatory, and secondary), Mr. Salah Ramez, delivered a speech encouraging the Girl Guides to attain the highest Scouting and Guiding ranks and persist in their involvement in the movement. Notably, he was awarded the wooden badge from the Arab Republic of Egypt.
