Qatar Scouts and Guides Association Celebrates the Winners of the "Noor and Dhiya" Religious Competition in Collaboration with the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs
The Qatar Scouts and Guides Association, in collaboration with the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, celebrated the honoring of the Girl Scouts and Guides who won the "Noor and Dhiya" religious competition. This recognition is part of the scouting methodology that places great emphasis on the religious aspect, as memorizing the hadiths describing the character and conduct of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) helps to reinforce the guiding principles derived from the morals and attributes of our Prophet.
The participants distinguished themselves by earning the "Young Preacher" badge after fulfilling its requirements through individual and group activities in schools related to the competition's topics. The application of the hobby badge system is one of the key features of the educational scouting curriculum, as it enhances the personal and creative skills of the Scouts and Guides.
Representatives from the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, school leaders from both public and private schools, and some parents who provided support and encouragement to the winners participated in the awards ceremony.
On this occasion, the Qatar Scouts and Guides Association expressed its deep gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this competition, reaffirming its commitment to organizing such events that promote religious and moral values among the Girl Scouts and Guides.
