Training sessions for the "Free to Be Me" World Program project
The Qatar Scouts and Guides Association organized training sessions for the "Free to Be Me" World Program project, with the participation of 140 guides. These sessions aim to promote self-respect and boost self-confidence among the Girl Guides, including advanced guides. The sessions were hosted by Zubeida Secondary School, and they were facilitated by accredited trainers certified by the World Association of Girl Guides. All sessions focused on self-respect.
The Heritage and Identity Center and a psychological counselor from Zubeida School also participated in the sessions, which covered various topics:
- Workshop on Body Respect
- Workshop on Media Madness Awareness
- Workshop on Beauty Contest
- Workshop on Body Language
- Workshop on Dealing with Pressure
- Workshop on Internal Beauty Ideal
- Workshop on Ideal Beauty Image, focusing on inner beauty and self-respect
- Workshop on Self-Reflection in the Mirror
All these sessions emphasize the value of moving away from physical beauty standards and embracing moral beauty.
The sessions were inaugurated by Ms. Hessa Hamed from H.H. Company, followed by workshops and activities.
