The "Arafat Al-Tala'a Camp" started at the headquarters of the Qatar Boy Scouts and Girl Guides Association for a duration of two days. During this period, the scouts will receive a range of purposeful scouting programs and beneficial training courses. These programs aim to empower the scouts to rely on themselves and prepare well for any challenges they may face. The course is designed to refine the basic skills of the leaders and assistants, support their orientations, and develop their leadership abilities, enabling them to manage and lead their groups effectively, ultimately benefiting the scouting unit as a whole.
Training Objectives:
1. Embody the values and attributes of the Promise and Law, setting a positive example to be followed.
2. Understand and explain the necessity and benefits of the Tala'a system within the scouting method in the movement.
3. Understand and explain the qualities that should be present in the Tala'a leader and strive to embody them.
4. Practice the role of the Tala'a leader towards the team leaders.
5. Fulfill the role and duties of the Tala'a leader towards their Tala'a in all its activities and represent it positively within the council.
6. Understand and analyze the needs, capabilities, and individual potentials of Tala'a members.
7. Plan and execute regular meetings and camps for Tala'a.
8. Take responsibility for the Tala'a and efficiently distribute roles and tasks among its members.
9. Work diligently to constantly develop Tala'a membership.
