The workshops for preparing the Qatari National Scouting Policies for Youth Engagement are underway on the sidelines of the First National Scouting Youth Forum. The first session began with a discussion on global scouting policies and their relationship with the international constitution, presented by Dr. Hani Abdelwahab, the Secretary-General of the Scouting Organization and the Regional Director of the Arab Scouting Region. He also emphasized the importance of providing sufficient space for youth participation in scouting decision-making processes in line with established regulations. Dr. Abdelwahab highlighted the significance of giving young people the opportunity to express their opinions and aspirations in shaping scouting activities in Qatar, leveraging their experiences, and fostering their development to contribute to enhancing their capabilities and meeting their needs. This approach aims to positively impact both the individuals themselves and their service to the community within the framework of the scouting movement's social responsibility.
